About:
My passion for all things related to photography started with my mother’s Kodak Brownie camera. My father was impatient with the turnaround-time of film to prints and bought a Polaroid Land Camera when they first came on the market. The seemingly magical process of self-developing photography had me hooked! With more years than I care to count of experience in the science and art of photography, my journey has taken me from the pungent fumes of developing black and white film and prints in a darkroom to the seeming limitless possibilities of digital editing in Lightroom.
I specialize in landscape and wildlife photography, with the more than the occasional nautical, aviation and sports-related image working their way into the portfolio.
At Anchor’s Rest Photography, my mission is to provide you with memorable, high-quality images capturing the observed, yet often unnoticed beauty in our world. I hope these images not only capture an instant in time, but also evoke lasting memories.
